Cedarville University SIFE | Business Day
Because choosing the right major can be a difficult decision for many incoming college students, SIFE has partnered with the Department of Business Administration to set aside one day each fall to specifically focus on educating high school students about different concentrations available within the Business Department, by sharing about opportunities available to Business graduates in the competitive global environment. Students from across the United States travel to Cedarville to attend the event and participate in session covering the topics of Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Global Economics, and Management Information Systems.
Fall 2008: Kristy McGunnigal and Melissa Winkle headed the committee of student presenters to the year’s attendees. Over 50 students attended Business Day to learn more about the Business Department here at Cedarville. Fall 2009: Cedarville’s 2009 Business Day was held on November 7th under the leadership of Chris Smith. Thirty-one prospective business students attended the event, in which presenters from each of the business disciplines ran teaching sessions and played games to introduce the students to Cedarville’s Department of Business Administration. |
